Preview of Collections by Payal Jain, Rajesh Pratap Singh, Shantanu & Nikhil Mehra, Fabindia, Ashish Soni, Abraham & Thakore.. Tamana a charitable, non-profit voluntary organisation, presents a fashion show previewing the collections of renowned Fashion Designers at The Hyatt Regency Delhi in the gracious presence of Mr.Salman Khurshid, Honourable Union Cabinet Minister for Law and Justice & Minority Affairs. C.M Mrs.Sheila Dikshit, Honourable Chief Minister of Government of NCT of Delhi, and, Mr.Sunil Sethi, President FDCI. The evening opened with the lighting of the Lamp and Zee Tv’s Little Champ Diwakar singing the prayer song “Ali maula” accompanied by the specially enabled students of Tamanna Special Schools who performed dance moments. The show witnessed a one-of-a kind leading schools of Delhi/ NCR. Following the ceremony India’s leading designers came together to support this worthy cause and Preferred Professionals produce and execute the choreography of the show. The evening concluded with Fashion Show where the Tamana Special School take to the runway, walking shoulder to shoulder with Professional Models. Speaking on the occasion, Dr.Shayama Chona, President, Tamana said “the show is an intiative to encourage the inclusion of Fashion into the lives of the differently abled. It is a way of putting it all together for our community, to accept and embrace them as they are in all box of life. Fashion a part/ Fashion apart provide a means for the special needs students of Tamana to walk along with some of the top models of the country thereby re-enforcing our belief that Fashion infact is meant for everyone”.
