"Sabyasachi’s collection at Bridal Asia 2011 is very dynamic .The emphasis is on bringing out exuberance in color combinations in the Indian Bridal wear genre. The Bridal Collection being showcased is a testimony to the richness and complexities of Indian heritage, culture and textiles inspired profoundly by the costumes of Royal India- Mughal Gharana, Avadhi Royalty and the paintings by Raja Ravi Verma.  
The majority of the fabrics used in this collection are – Velvet, Georgette, Brocade, Khadi, Silk, Net, Muslin, Chanderi, dhakai and Gauze. The Bridal Outfits being showcased consist of traditional Indian saris and Lenghas. There is emphasis on embroidery and bead work. Various kinds of surface ornamentation have been used to embellish these outfits – hand embroidery, gara work, kashmiri work, exquisitely worked borders, tepchi work, zardozi, intricate aari, gota ka kaam, vegetable dyeing and block printing., The chief colors used are red, fuchsia, orange, purple, yellow, green, ivory and some vibrant shades inspired by Rajasthan and rural India.
